As the first quarter of 2021 wrapped up, the crime genre of gaming apps on Android saw a mix of trends in the United States. Sensor Tower's data gives us a glimpse into how these games performed in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users.

Mafia City, published by Phantix Games, showed a revenue trend that started at around $750K in the last week of December and saw peaks and dips, ending March with roughly $800K. Downloads began at 65K and gradually decreased to 23K by late March. Weekly active users followed a similar downward trend, starting at 310K and ending at 197K.

June's Journey: Hidden Objects by Wooga, a German publisher, witnessed its revenue fluctuate, starting at approximately $460K and reaching a high of $558K mid-March before settling near $490K. The game's downloads showed a significant spike to 38K in early March from earlier numbers hovering around 26K. Active users remained relatively stable, with a slight increase from 221K to 237K.

Phantix Games also published The Grand Mafia, which saw an upward revenue trend from $300K to over $550K. Downloads for this game declined from 64K to 29K, while active users decreased from 88K to 53K by the end of the quarter.

Manor Matters from Playrix, based in Ireland, experienced an increase in revenue from $118K at the start of the period to $227K. It also saw a significant boost in downloads in early February, reaching over 108K, then gradually decreased to 19K. Weekly active users showed a peak of 180K in mid-February and ended the quarter at 129K.

Lastly, Rovio Entertainment Corporation's Small Town Murders: Match 3 from Finland had a steady increase in revenue from $61K to $77K. Downloads were more variable, with a peak of 7.8K in mid-January and dipping to 5K by the end of March. Active users peaked at 45K in late January and ended the quarter around 39K.
